We hope you followed along with us last week leading up to opener, because just about everything we predicted worked as we had hoped!

Looking forward to the second weekend of trout season, we're expecting a lot of great things. For one, we've had a full week of temperatures in the high teens to twenties, this will bring our rivers into prime temperature ranges for trout to be at peak activity levels. The warmer water will also bring a lot of bugs, blue winged olive, hendrickson, and maybe even sulphur mayflies!

The season is well ahead of schedule, meaning fish are more active than typical, but still not pressured!
