Course Description
Two Hand Spey Fly Casting
Individual/Group Lesson (1-2 Students - 1 Instructor)
Classes are held in Toronto, please contact for details.
Cost is per person
At the heart of everything, fly casting is truly what makes fly fishing unique and being able to put a fly where you want it is key to success on the water. In our introduction to two handed spey fly casting course you can expect to come away understanding how the components of your setup work together, how to perform a multitude of casts that will work all different conditions, how to shoot line, and more!
This program is geared towards beginner students. We can accommodate up to two students per session (if you have someone who you'd like to accompany you), however we encourage you to book individually as we find that adding students leads to less personal instruction and split attention from the instructor. Pricing is per student, we've set the price to be the same per-person-rate whether booking individually or with a friend to encourage people to book one-on-one lessons as we believe that it will be in the best interest of the student to do so.
In this class we will cover everything you need to know to get fishing including casting in varying wading and wind conditions.
Please note that the time allotted for each class is the average amount of time it takes to cover all topics. Depending on the student we may cover all intended topics early and have time for additional instruction, or we might not complete all intended topics in the allotted time. Course times are firm.
Courses are 2.5 hours long.
