WTFly Tying Contest is Back! This time, it’s digital!
Date: Thursday, January 20th, 2022
Time: 9:00 PM EST
Cost: $10 – but, for those who attend the event online, you’ll be issued a $10 gift card!
Material Packs: Available ONLY for curb-side pick-up – only 25 material packs available
Material Packs Pick-up: At Drift Outfitters from now until event date at
6:00 PM while quantities last.

If you choose not to, or can not, consume alcohol or beer, that’s cool and we don't want to push it on you! Just let us know and we’ll omit the beer from your material pack.
We want to make sure the event is inclusive for many!
We’re deep into fly tying season, and in another lockdown here in Ontario, what better time to launch another round of WTFly Tying Contest, this time in your homes!
This time around material packs along with your delicious FREE can Eastbound Brewing Co. beer (if you're 19+) are available for pick-up at the shop only - sorry, no exceptions. There are only 25 material packs, they are available on a first-come first-serve basis – once they’re gone they’re gone!
We’re figuring out how we can effectively judge flies with everyone being remote, so until we do, we’re giving out two participation rewards that will be randomly drawn for the attendees of the event! What are the prizes…? We’ll let you know on Instagram soon!
The event will be hosted on Zoom, we’ll collect your email address when you order the material pack online, or pay for and pick-up you material pack + free beer (if you’re 19+) and send you login details the day of the event.
The event will be hosted online on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 at 9:00 PM EST so you can get settled and get those soon to be fly-tyers to bed.
Why are we charging $10 and only giving a $10 gift card for those who have picked-up material packs and who attend the event online?
