If you have never been to our Toronto hosting of the International Fly Fishing Film Festival (IF4), well, you've missing out!

It is easily the largest fly fishing event in Ontario, maybe even the largest east of Calgary!

Fly fishing cinematography has come a very long way from when it began. Incredible quality footage with energizing fun, and sometimes very emotional story lines is what you can expect at the 2020 IF4.

With our long and hard winters, a film festival based around fly fishing is the perfect way to beat away the winter blues, support a great cause, and meet like minded fly anglers.

The IF4 has been a great way to introduce curious anglers to fly fishing. The old imagery of fly fishing has bogged down the growth of new fly anglers, but with today's media and who and what you'll find on screen, it really does showcase modern fly fishing for the incredible sport that it is that takes place in your backyards to remote locations around the world and everything in between.

Every year we pick an organization to raise money and awareness for. This year we have chosen the Atlantic Salmon Federation - ASF. Their work in preserving, conserving and protecting the wild Atlantic salmon that run our east coast rivers is a BIG task which they've taken on. If you're interested in reading up on more of what they do head to WWW.ASF.CA.

This year, after the IF4, we are going to have a presentation on DIY fishing for Atlantic Salmon in Quebec and how you can access this fishery on the cheap. It is way more affordable and way more approachable than you probably thing!

The presentation begins at Pauper's Pub, 30 meters away from the theatre, at 6:30 PM.
