Single Hand Fly Casting
4 students - 1 instructor
Cost is per person
Classes are held at The Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan where we will have ample space to cast on their artificial turf.
At the heart of everything, fly casting is truly what makes fly fishing unique and being able to put a fly where you want it is key to success on the water. Because these are two-on-one lessons, we can tailor them to your personalized needs, whatever that may mean. At the end of the class you can expect to better understand the dynamics of your cast, potential areas of growth, and a plan for reaching your goals. These lessons are suitable for all skill levels however it's recommended that casters have some casting experience.
Courses are 1:55 hours long. Course times are firm.
Included for use in each lesson:
-Fly rod, reel, line, & leader (if you'd like to use your own you can)
-proper clean athletic footwear
-brimmed hat or cap (mandatory)
-Sunglasses, prescription glasses, or protective eye wear (mandatory)

Online videos and books are fine but you can’t beat a seasoned professional who takes the time to demonstrate and explain in a way that leaves you feeling comfortable with your progress.
Simply the best. Chris is fantastic and will help you fine-tune your mechanics so that you'll be fishing your best-whether it's for an upcoming winter salty trip down south (like me), or you just wanna get ready for the Spring season. Highly, highly recommended. One session in and I'm already getting more distance, accuracy, and
